One of the most damning results from the recent Citizens’ Jury commissioned by One Gloucestershire was that 17 out the 18 jurors concluded “The information or data in the consultation materials was inaccurate, incorrect, incomplete or insufficient”. They concluded “This matters because it will lead to an incorrect judgement because the audience may not fully understand the issues or the potential impacts which would limit the success of the whole.”

One Gloucestershire employed a Citizens’ Jury, arranged by Citizens’ Jury CIC, to judge whether the process of the ‘Fit for the Future’ public consultation was satisfactory.
